K Narrative Drawings
Students were asked to think about their families and something they remembered doing recently with them. Some students shared these memories with the class. We discussed stories and their importance to us and then looked at some of my own childhood drawings in which I illustrated stories I had narrated. Students were given paper, crayons and colored pencils and asked to illustrate their own memories. When finished, they shared their drawings and stories with each other.
