Black Magic (ink Alchemy)
This series explores catalytic formation, expansion, contraction, texture, contrast, and an obsession with shiny things. It is inspired by and references the geological, organic, and cosmic as well the alchemy of changing one mineral into another. Each piece is reflective, made with india ink as well as metallic inks and paints, changing in the light as if dimensional. All pieces are ink and acrylic on yupo, 12.5"x19".
